Moving to Ramstein in February Empty Moving to Ramstein in February

I'll be moving to Ramstein in February. I ride road and also hope to commute to work. This will be my fifth time to Europe, but first time to Ramstein. I've cycled extensively in the Netherlands (Limburg and Soesterberg areas), Germany (Geilenkirchen area), and at Lajes. I've only cycled a few times in the Ramstein area, but that was back in the early 90's. I look forward to the hills in the area, and also trying to ride the routes of the one day classics and the Nuerbergring.

I am finally arriving next Tuesday.  Per TMO, my hold baggage/bike will be there NLT mid-April.  My family is not arriving until mid-June, so I will be up for riding (road) most evenings and on the weekends.

I made it to Ramstein. I have all my cycling gear with me, but I am still awaiting my bike which should be here in a week or so per TMO. Looking forward to riding soon. My office window overlooks the hills south of the runway. I am hoping there are some nice hilly roads that meander through them.

I am at the 86th Safety office, 480-2597.
