Sorry about that Duvi. It was poring down rain when I sent the message that I wasn't going to ride. As I left Ramstein and headed to Bruchmuhlbach the weather became nice. Go figure! I will be riding this evening instead.

Anyone want to ride this week? I am in as long as the rain doesn't cause huge problems.

I am out for this week and possibly for a few weeks until my wife gives birth.

I am not certain if I will be able to make it either (have a friend flying in on the rotater). Ryan is also TDY this week. PowerPro - give me a call and perhaps we can set up another ride tomorrow evening or this weekend.

I will be riding today, but will be heading out with the team from Ramstein's Bike shop in Ramstein downtown 1700. Feel free to join, looking like a 2hr ride possibly a little wet!

Duvi, I am heading back to the states on leave very early tomorrow morning so I won't be riding tonight. Ryan is on leave also. I look forward to tthe weekly rides after I return on the 22nd of June.

Well baseball season is finally over so my Wednesdays are free again. But, since I've got Luxembourg next weekend I think I'm going to maximize my time in the aerobars vs dropouts. Hopefully in 2 weeks! I'll ride the normal route tonight and maybe will merge or rejoin with ya'll. I'll be the guy on the tri-bike...don't see too many around... Dozer

I am new to the forum, but I am looking for some good rides.  I just started riding again after about 6 years of just looking at my bikes.  Long story short, I am all about getting my legs back.  Do you guys do more rides than just in the middle of the week?  Do you do weekend runs?  Looking forward to riding with some other riders in the near future.

Welcome to the area. Where do you live? If your close to Vogelweh, I go out almost every evening after work. I will be doing a long ride tommorrow if your interested. Just go done running a 10k a few minutes ago. Hit me up if you wanna get together and train.

I live out in Olsbrucken. I am also going riding tomorrow. I do not know if you are going MTB or road, but all I currently have until my MTB get here is my road bike. How far is long ride? What time? Where would you meet?

Well I didn't once get to join the group. Sorry about that guys. TDYs, 6-week family visit, PCS, and tri-training conspired to stymie the Wed p.m. group. Bikes were shipped last week. I'm hand-carrying my tri-bike to hit Heidelberg weekend after next and Mount Tremblant in September for the 1/2 IM WCs. In other news, I did manage to sneak down to the Vosges on Sunday a.m. and pre-ride the Cat 1 Climb to Le Markstein. Stuck around to see Tony Martin absolutely hammer over the top. He was going so fast it surprised everyone and I didn't even have my camera ready. Rob, What is your schedule like? It's hard for me to get out mid-day, but I can ride some evenings with advance planning (scheduled ride) and on the weekends I try to get out on the MTB. Time to start shedding the winter weight...

Schedule is pretty flexible. I have online schoolwork a few nights a week, but can normally schedule riding around that.

Rob, did you ever get anything going? Weekdays are not working out too well. There is another post trying to set up a monday road ride from the base. Maybe that'll get some energy?

I never got any interest for a Wednesday ride. I'll check out the other post.
