Crankset wanted Empty Crankset wanted

Post by MRI on Sun Mar 09, 2014 6:34 pm

I currently have an FSA Carbon Pro Compact 50/34t 172.5 arm length on my bianchi. I'd like to stay in the same neighborhood...if you have anything, let me know.

Thanks,
Mitch

Mitch,

What are you looking to do? Do you need a regular crank (53/39)?

I have an extra FSA SLK GXP 172.5 but its 53/39.

A 110mm 50/34 172.5 is what I have on her right now but I am always interested in the extra low end torque (i rode a 53 on my fixie back in the day). I like the hills and I don't think a few less teeth would shut me down. Do you know if the SLK GXP will be compatible with a 2006 bianchi 928 reparto corse?

Well I ride a 52/36 combo on my bike and the 3 teeth on the small ring makes a difference.

Crank will fit GXP is just regular english 68 BB. You will need a new bottom bracket.

Well, It can't hurt to give it a try...worst comes to worst I have a crankset for any triathlons with rolling hills I may come across Wink How much would you be willing to let it go for?

Thanks for the input and the quick replies by the way.
