You got a list too, huh? You're home, you can do housework... Eight hours worth. I told her I am going on a bike ride, and got my hours cut back.

Hey... I want to see some of the stuff you know behind the village. Got plenty of time to explore now! I just got to string up my shifter and slap my wheels on my DHR!

Sure! Just have good brake pads! There are some brake burning downhills behind the village. The average grade is about 12% so it's a huffer-puffer to get to the top but smiles from ear to ear on the way down. There is a good little loop by climbing the paved road and going across the top of the ridge then dropping down into Vogelbach.

For riding behind the village. You will need to dig in your parts bin and find the granny ring. If you come for florida you will want some tires that actually grip :-D

I have rode in Florida on a TDY, may I never live there in my life....

South side, against the hills. We could accomplish a lot with a rake and shovel this time of year...

Yeah I know of a run that exists that would be really fun by just raking and moving some dead fall.

I'm in for it but since noob status is applicable I'm not sure where it is.  I know where the standard Thursday ride is held so if it's there I can make it for sure.
