Riding near camp darby/livorno italy? Empty Riding near camp darby/livorno italy?

Post by Jonesy Fri Aug 16, 2013 10:27 pm

I'm going to livirno/camp darby, italy (near pisa) tdy and will have a chance to do a little riding. I'm in touch with outdoor rec down there and they recommended road cycling and have some recommended routes.
As of now my plan is to bring along my road bike and get in a coupke off good road rides.

Any of y'all have any experience riding in that area?

So outdoor rec in Camp Darby recommended a couple of routes for me, but really it wasn't hard to find good riding, i just got out west of Livorno and rode... Miles and miles of moderate hills through vineyards, olive groves and centuries-old villas and catholic churches. Got in two good rides and it was well-worth the bike bagagge fee.
