Weekly Road Ride from Southside Gym at Ramstein: Wednesdays @1730

I agree, weather is not looking real promissing....going to sit this one out as well.

I am back from Italy and ready to ride, but not in these cold and wet conditions. See ya'll next week.

I do not work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday so I was looking to get some miles in on the road. Distance, pace departure location, and departure time are all still up in the air. Anyone want to join me? Chime in on your' availability and willing to ride.

Anyone else? It's a beautiful day! I rode 105k yesterday so I am ready to take it a little easier today...or not.

I am in but probably only at 60 or so percent.

I'm in, planning to roll from the house, so will meet at the west gate location unless I have enough time to get to the SS gym.....

Approximately 70% of me will be at the SS Gym at 1730...the other 30% is staying at work to finish up

I'll be at the West gate around 1740ish.

@yetiman...yes, we have been riding every Wednesday from SS Gym at 1730. Generally about a 2hr ride w/ 1-2 good climbs. Nice paceline on the flats at 20+ mph, and we climb at our own pace and regroup at the top. Hope to see you tomorrow.

Not going to make this one, stuck running the grill and monitoring beer cooler. Rough job today.

I'm planning to ride today.  Anyone interested in an alternate meeting place of Bann or the Landstuhl castle for a ride south?  Assuming Chad can make it as he would know the route.

I'm actually out for today...sorry.  If it doesn't work out for this week, then maybe the alternate route next week.

I ended up riding 100k yesterday, including 35k with Armin's group, so my legs are shot for any kind of hard efforts or climbing.  The heat yesterday was brutal...and today won't be much better.  I can ride, but I need to stick to a flatish loop North of the base...that way I can bail out as soon as my legs explode.

I'm going to back out of the ride tonight.  It's too hot to pound the pavement, plus I got out of work early so I'm off to hit the trail since it's a little cooler in the woods. 

Next week from Bann or Landstuhl castle?

I'm fine with meeting/riding to the south next week.  I'll try not to do the heavy miles the day before that ride so my legs are a little less flat than the last couple times.
I am still riding today though.

I'm going to bag the group ride--it's too damn hot to be chasing you'all around.  I might just spin easy a bit later into the evening though.
