US Forces Europe MTB Series??
It looks like the US Forces MTB Series is shaping up early. There are three races on the schedule, and I would love to add a fourth! So far the following races on on the schedule:
01 Jun @ Hohenfels (Dave Bumgarner)
28 Jul @ Kaiserslautern (Steve Selvey)
07 Sep @ Garmisch (Drew Benson)
In keeping with the one race a month trend, I would suggest shooting for August, but May could work as well.
I am checking with Dave Mattingly, the series coordinator, about when the calendar must be finalized. I'm hoping to have time to talk about it at the next meeting, but they may close the calendar before then. If that's the case, then we will have an online vote to see if we can support it. As the only military bike race series in Europe, I really think we should be part of this. We have such a wealth of knowledge in the club with regard to mountain biking, and I think we could put on an awesome event.

Re: US Forces Europe MTB Series??
I agree, the Club could host a really great addition too this series!
As the current outreach member I would like to make this happen! However, I'm not sure I'll be in country come summer. If we decide to push forward on this I'll do all I can.

Maybe we should really consider the May slot, then we would be sure to have a good group around to make this thing happen.
